Neighbor's Light
Neighbor’s Light is a Columbia-based ministry partnering with local churches to provide safe, affordable housing for believers who are active in their faith and in need of a fresh start.

Our
Story
How It All Began
Neighbor’s Light began when a local church member saw families in the community struggling to find stable housing and felt a deep calling to respond. With the support of his church and others who shared his vision, he stepped out in faith to create a ministry rooted in Matthew 25 — “I was a stranger and you invited me in.” What began as one act of obedience has grown into a Christ-centered effort to provide homes, hope, and a fresh start for families in need.
Mission

Our Purpose
Neighbor’s Light is a Christ-centered housing ministry inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35 — “I was a stranger and you invited me in.” Our mission is to provide safe, stable, and affordable homes for families facing difficult seasons, while fostering a supportive environment grounded in faith, dignity, and community. We believe every family deserves a chance to rebuild with hope, surrounded by neighbors who care. By partnering with local churches and donors, we offer more than just housing — we offer a fresh start, spiritual encouragement, and long-term opportunities for growth and belonging. At Neighbor’s Light, we prayerfully encouragefamilies as they step into the future God has for them.
